The client wanted to automate the processes of starting, stopping, regulating and servicing steam boilers to optimize operational efficiency and minimize the risk of accidents.
Our client sought to automate the processes of fuel supply to boilers and generators in order to ensure an optimal fuel-air ratio and reduce fuel costs
What we did
Step 1: Analysis and design of the control system
To begin with, we conducted a detailed analysis of the operation of steam boilers at the CHP, identifying the main stages and processes, such as start, stop, regulation and maintenance. We have identified the necessary parameters and variables that affect the efficiency of boilers and the risk of accidents.
Step 2: Development of an automated control system
Based on the analysis, we have developed an automated control system for steam boilers. This system includes software and hardware components that allow you to control and regulate the operation of boilers.
Step 3: Installation of sensors and actuators
We have installed the appropriate sensors and actuators on steam boilers to receive data on the current state and parameters of the boilers, as well as to be able to control them remotely.
Step 4: Development of control algorithms
We have created control algorithms that allow us to optimize the processes of starting, stopping and regulating boilers. These algorithms are based on sensor data, and also take into account the parameters of the CHP operation and external factors such as weather conditions and energy consumption.
Step 5: Integration with the monitoring system
We have integrated an automated control system for steam boilers with a common system for monitoring and managing production processes at the CHP. This allows operators to receive information about the operation of boilers in real time and quickly respond to changes in conditions.
Final Result
As a result of our work, the client received a fully automated control system for steam boilers, which significantly increased the efficiency of the CHP and minimized the risk of accidents
